Jungle Rules!!

Last Sunday my friend Laura and I took a little drive out to El Yunque, and this is what we found.

La Selva, Puerto Rico's north coast. On a quiet Sunday morning, it's up and at 'em in the jungle!
The first thing I see is a bunch of green parrots taking flight towards their feeding grounds.
After A short walk, I hear the thunder behind the palm trees, and I get a peek at the surf through the underbrush.
Then we come across the mouth of the lagoon causeway, a quiet respite from the excitement sure to come!

Then I see the first of the surfers heading out.








And then I see the waves. Awesome!

Looking back, standing majestically over the valley, El Yunque. La Selva Rules!!
